It’s called BR Fest, and it’s the largest beach festival dedicated to Brazilian music and culture.
The latest music festival in Portugal will take place on the extensive sands of Praia do Relógio, in Figueira da Foz, and promises to evoke the party vibe from the other side of the Atlantic.
The 2nd edition of the event will take place in the summer of 2024, on July 13th and 14th, and promises to repeat the huge success of the previous year.

Figueira da Foz is known for its lively atmosphere and is a highly favored summer vacation spot among the Portuguese, a tradition that dates back to the 19th century when "going to bathe in Figueira" was a habit among the aristocracy of Central Portugal.
The casino, one of the city's attractions, dates from that time.
The vast sandy beach, where the festival also takes place, has ideal conditions for practicing various sports such as soccer, beach rugby, or volleyball. But water sports are the main attraction, as well as international surfing and sailing championships. It is said that Figueira da Foz has the longest right-hand wave in Europe - as good for beginners as it is for more experienced surfers.
It is common to see people walking or cycling along the long promenade, which ends at Praia de Buarcos, much sought after for being more protected from the north winds by Cabo Mondego.
Through the Serra da Boa Viagem and following the forest road, you reach Quiaios beach, a friendly village of small houses that is part of any journey along the sea in this region.
