The Authentica Festival is back at Altice Forum Braga! On December 6th and 7th, all roads lead to Altice Forum Braga for the biggest winter music festival in Portugal.
The Authentica Festival returns with a very special 3rd edition, to end the year on a high note, featuring artists from different musical genres, from Pop to Hip-Hop, from Rock to Electronic, divided across two stages.
The festival has a capacity for 36 thousand festival-goers, with an area of 25,000 m2, where families and young people from all over the country are expected to attend, as well as from various regions of Spain.
Known as the "City of Archbishops", Braga balances in its streets the vestiges of its historical past with its vibrant modern spirit, being one of the youngest cities in Portugal and having been the European Youth Capital in 2012. Belonging to the UNESCO Creative Cities network since 2017, Braga enjoys a growing dynamism at various levels, such as cultural or sporting.
The multiple points of Historical and Monumental Heritage make Braga a desirable tourist centre. The various festivities throughout the year, such as Holy Week, the St. John's Festivities (Festas de S. João), the Roman Braga (Braga Romana) or the Academic Celebrations, offer visitors animation beyond simple walks and routes through the city.
