A festival aimed for a more sophisticated experience, the Jardins do Marquês – Oeiras Valley Festival will take over the gardens of the Marquês de Pombal Palace in the beginning of the summer. It will be made up of seven outdoor evenings to awaken all senses.
With an eclectic line-up that mixes soul with fado and contemporary samba, among other, this festival is perfect for those looking to enjoy their music in a more relaxed way, in a more intimate environment and without the fuss of the bigger festivals. Involved with the idyllic background of the palace gardens, each night will bring four concerts of Portuguese and international artists and divided by two stages, to be enjoyed and savoured with the calmness of the gardens.

The municipality of Oeiras is one of the richest and most developed in Portugal and in the Iberian Peninsula. It became an attractive centre for various multinational companies that established offices and even European head offices. This entrepreneurial focus even gave Oeiras the nickname of "European Sillicon Valley".
