MEO Sudoeste

In August, come to Zambujeira and enjoy one of the most iconic environments for festival-goers, the Meo Sudoeste!

One of the most important summer festivals in Portugal happens at Herdade da Casa Branca. Located in Zambujeira do Mar, a village on the Alentejo coast famous for its beautiful beaches and mild temperatures.

The most musical estate on the Costa Vicentina hosted the Meo Sudoeste for the first time in 1997. Since then, it has gathered a wide range of renowned artists from various musical trends.

In a heavenly place, far from the routine of the city, dancing over the five days to the big beats of the national and international musical landscape. The party continues with electronic music well into the early hours.

The strong contact with nature teams with the music, allowing the public to enjoy the beaches of the Alentejo and the green of the countryside, in a single place. Camping is a common practice at the Meo Sudoeste and that ensures a week’s holiday at a readily affordable price. In addition to the beaches in the surrounding area, there is a channel of water to help cool the mornings and afternoons for the festival-goers over the 9 days that the camp site is open: from the 5th until the 13th August.

MEO Sudoeste is conspicuous for its musical diversity and can be regarded as the event where the experience reaches its culmination, in a week of holidays with the epicentre in Music.
